Location

On the 'Location' tab you should set your timezone. You do not need to set the time itself within MiOS. MiOS automatically synchronizes the time using an online service each time MiOS is powered on. Note that this means if you turn on MiOS without an internet connection, or if you do not set the timezone, any timers you create may not work as expected.

MiOS activates an event at sunrise and sunset, which you can use to trigger actions (see the 'Event' tab). To calculate sunrise/sunset, MiOS needs to know the time, your timezone, and your location's longitude/latitude. MiOS has the longitude and latitude of most cities in the world. You can select your country, region, and city using the pull-down menus, and MiOS will get the longitude/latitude automatically. If your city is not listed, choose the nearest city or specify the longitude/latitude manually.

You can discover your location's precise longitude/latitude by visiting maps.google.com to search for your address, then clicking the 'Link' button there. Your location's coordinates will be contained within the 'Paste link' field.

Note:
*Be sure to have your unit connected to the internet in order to be able to setup your timezone and location.
**Every time the unit starts it will synchronize the clock from an ntp server over its internet connenction. If the unit doesn't have internet access the time will be set to
a default value and all your Timer won't work.
