In the new UI, we added a new option to Z-Wave devices. You can setup notifications for a certain devices when they change their state. This way, you don't have to use it necessarily in a scene. For example, you can add a notification when "An armed sensor is tripped" to send an email or SMS to a certain user in your configuration.


You have to add the notification first, then select the user you want to be notified and click Save.
